The frame design of the GLOCK 17 Gen5 FS removed the finger grooves for more versatility but still allows to easily customize its grip by using the different back straps. A flared mag-well and a cutout at the front of the frame gives the user more speed during reloading when fractions of a second matter. A reversible enlarged magazine catch, is changeable at user level as well as the ambidextrous slide stop lever accommodate left and right-handed operators. The rifling and the crown of the barrel were slightly modified for increased precision.

The Henry lever-action rifle I got is fun for plinking. Shot 200 rounds of .22 LR last weekend at 50 yards—smooth action. Great for casual shooting, but the loading gate is a bit stiff.

Tactical gloves are good for range days. Wore them during a cold shoot and they kept my hands warm. Good grip, but the stitching could be stronger.
